Insurance and Rates

We do not currently accept insurance and are considered an “out-of-network” provider. This means that payment is due in full at the time of service. Many of our patients pay by credit card, debit card, or HSA funds through our secure patient portal.

While we do not directly accept insurance, we provide all of our patients with a monthly statement for reimbursement that they can submit on their own. The amount of reimbursement is dependent on your specific insurance provider and your specific plan.

If you haven’t already, we always recommend calling
your insurance company and suggest asking:

  • What are my mental health benefits for in-network providers? Is there a deductible before I can use these benefits?
  • What are my mental health benefits for out-of-network providers? Is there a deductible before I can use these benefits?
  • How many sessions are covered under my plan? Is it a set amount or unlimited?
  • Am I able to use my health savings account, flex spending account, or other similar accounts to cover the cost of my treatment?
  • Is pre-authorization required in order to use my benefits?

If you have questions about our practice’s fees or need help navigating this process, we are happy to help guide you. Please reach out to us directly using our contact form.

Fees

We offer a free 20 minute consultation to all of our prospective patients. We use this time to hear more about what has brought you to therapy and to give you a chance to ask us any questions you might have about who we are, how we practice, and to assess whether we are a good fit for you and your specific needs.

If we both decide to proceed with scheduling sessions, our rates are as follows:

Joanna Strait

Individual Session, 50 mins –  $220

Couples Session, 50 minutes –  $245

Andrea Agalloco

Individual Session, 50 mins – $200

Couples/Family Session, 50 min – $225

Prior to your first session, session fees and estimated costs will be discussed with you. Should you wish to work with us, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing of expected costs for therapy, which is required by law under the No Surprises Act. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about your estimated costs.

As therapists, we care that our services are accessible. Because of this, we offer sliding scale fees on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to let us know if you would like to explore this option or have any other questions about our rates.
